Heartopia Money Guide: Best Ways to Make Gold Fast
Struggling to buy that new house blueprint or expand your storage? This is the comprehensive guide to hacking the Heartopia economy. Discover the fundamental golden rules, the best hobbies to focus on, and how to multiply your income tenfold.
🛑 The Golden Rule: Never Sell Raw Materials
If you want to make money fast in Heartopia, you must understand one fundamental economic rule: Never sell raw fish, raw fruits, or raw vegetables.
Selling an item directly from your backpack yields pennies. Instead, you must combine your major hobbies—Fishing, Gardening, and Cooking—to process those raw materials into high-star dishes. A raw Apple might sell for a tiny amount, but transforming it into Apple Jam can multiply its value exponentially if your cooking level procs a 5-star result.
🛒 Where Do I Sell Items?
Find Albert Jr.
Unlike some farming simulators with a dedicated shipping bin next to your house, Heartopia requires you to sell your goods to a specific NPC: Albert Jr. (the Gold Merchant).
- Albert Jr. does not have a static storefront. He wanders around the town.
- To find him easily, open your in-game map and track his specific icon.
- Interact with him and select "Sell Items". You can queue up multiple stacks of cooked food or rare fish to liquidate into Gold instantly.
The Holy Trinity of Wealth
1. Cooking for Maximum Profit
Cooking is universally agreed upon as the absolute fastest and most reliable method to accumulate massive wealth in the game.
The Forager's Jam Strategy
Early in the game, run around the map shaking trees and bushes to collect free Apples, Oranges, and Berries. Process these "zero-cost" ingredients into fruit jams for 100% pure profit.
Low-Star Input, High-Star Output
Use your low-quality (1-star) farmed crops to cook dishes. If your cooking level is high, a 1-star raw potato can still spontaneously become a 4-star Fish and Chips during the minigame.
2. Smart Farming (Gardening)
Gardening synergizes directly with cooking. Your farm should be an engine to produce high-value cooking ingredients, not just cash crops to sell directly.
-
1
Top Tier Crops
Focus your early farm plots on growing Wheat and Potatoes. They are essential for many mid-game and endgame high-profit recipes. Later, shift to Grapes and Strawberries.
-
2
Time Management
Plant fast-growing crops while you are actively logged in. Right before you go to sleep in real life, plant slow-growing crops (like Grapes, which can take over 10 hours).
-
3
Truffle Foraging (Wild Farming)
While not "farmed" at your house, visit the Forest Island to forage Black Truffles. They respawn roughly every 15 minutes and are a key ingredient for the legendary 6,600G Black Truffle recipes.
3. Fishing for Jackpots
Fishing provides an excellent boost to your daily income, especially when you learn how to abuse weather changes.
The Spring Lake Rain Method
In the early game, particularly when it rains, head to Spring Lake to catch Crucian Carp. Then, immediately take them home and cook them to multiply their base value.
The Rainbow Fish Jackpot 🌈
Always keep an eye out for "Rainbow" weather events. Run immediately to the Starlight Sea during a rainbow to catch the elusive Rainbow Fish. Highly sought after, they boast an incredibly high base sell value.
