🎖️ What is DG Level?
DG (Developer Grade), also called the D.G. Members Guild, is Heartopia's central progression system. Think of it as your main character level.
DG Level Unlocks:

- → New Furniture & Recipes
- → Story Content
⚠️ Time-Gated Progression
DG leveling is intentionally time-gated. You can only earn a limited number of Contribution Medals per day, so consistent daily play is more important than grinding sessions.
📈 How to Level Up
Contribution Medals = XP
Contribution Medals are the experience points for your DG level. Earn enough medals to level up!
🔑 Main Source: Resident Requests
- • 5 requests available per day
- • Each request gives 10 Contribution Medals
- • Maximum of 50 medals daily from requests
- • Resets at 6:00 AM (server time)
Types of Resident Requests:
- 📸 Taking photos of specific locations or items
- 🎣 Catching specific fish
- 🦋 Catching specific insects
- 📦 Delivering items to NPCs
- 🌾 Collecting resources

You receive tickets at DG Levels 2, 3, 5, 8, and 11. Each hobby requires one ticket to unlock, so plan your unlocks carefully!
💡 Progression Tips
✅ Do
- • Complete all 5 Resident Requests daily — missing days slows progress significantly
- • Check requests at 6 AM — get a head start on the day
- • Save Hobby Tickets for Level 6 — unlock Cooking first for profit
- • Prepare materials in advance — some requests need specific items
- • Level hobbies alongside DG — many events require hobby levels
❌ Don't
- • Skip daily requests — you can't make up for lost medals
- • Use Hobby Tickets randomly — plan your unlock order
- • Expect to rush — the system is designed for daily play
- • Ignore the calendar icon — that's where requests are found!
🔍 How to Access DG Menu
- 1. Open your in-game watch/smartwatch
- 2. Find the D.G. Members Guild icon
- 3. View your current Contribution Medals and progress
- 4. When you have enough medals, press the upgrade button (costs some Gold)
