🔨 1. Building Basics

Building is one of the core features in Heartopia! You can construct anything from cozy cottages to elaborate castles. The game encourages creativity with flexible building tools.

🎮 Build Mode Controls

  • • Use the Builder Tablet to enter Build Mode
  • • Move, rotate, and store furniture freely
  • • Take down walls and modify layouts
  • • Paint walls and customize colors

🛠️ Workbench (DG Level 1)

  • • Craft furniture from blueprints + materials
  • • Unlocked after intro quests
  • • More recipes unlock as you progress
  • • Use gathered resources for crafting
💡 Tip: You can completely demolish your home and start fresh at any time! Don't be afraid to experiment.

🏗️ 2. Expanding Home Plots

You start with 3 housing plots. To build bigger, you need to unlock additional Home Plots through the Developer's Guild.

  2. 2. Complete daily resident requests for medals
  3. 3. New plots unlock as DG level-up rewards
  4. 4. Open Developer's Guild app → Click the "four squares" icon

  • Rare Timber: Large trees in Suburban areas
  • Roaming Oak: Daily-moving NPC Oak tree
  • Bamboo: Forest areas only

⛏️ Stone & Ore

  • Stone: Mining rock deposits
  • Iron Ore: Regular rock deposits
  • Silver Ore: Less common deposits
  • Gold Ore: Rare deposits
  • Meteor Ore: Special/event locations
