Progress through the tutorial until you encounter Vanya, the fishing mentor.

Vanya needs a repair kit for their fishing rod. Craft and give it to them.

Vanya gives you a ticket to officially unlock the Fishing hobby. You'll also get a fishing rod!

Equip Your Fishing Rod
Open your toolbox/inventory and select the fishing rod.

Find Fish Shadows
Look for dark shadows in the water — these indicate fish. Bigger shadows = rarer fish!

Cast Your Line
Face the fish and tap the fishing rod icon. Hold and release for precise casting.

Wait for a Bite
When the bobber disappears and an exclamation mark (!) appears, you've hooked a fish!

Reel In Carefully
Hold the reel icon to pull the fish. Watch the line color!

If the line stays red, it will snap and the fish escapes!

Bait makes fishing easier and increases rare fish chances. Unlock it after completing the "Cat on the Roof" quest with Vanya.

Stand at water's edge → Open inventory → Select bait → Press "Chum" to drop it in water → Fish spawns instantly!

- • Carry Repair Kits — don't let your rod break mid-session

- • Sell high-value fish (200+ Gold) raw — cooking them isn't worth it
- • Look for bigger shadows — they indicate rarer fish

Upgrade your Fishing hobby via the Hobby App on your smartwatch. Each level requires Fishing Proficiency + Hobby Upgrade Tickets.
Level Unlocks:

- Level 8: Ocean Master Rod (faster rare catches)
- Level 9: Access to Huchen and other rare fish
