Best Location & Weather Requirements
Unlike common river fish, the European Mudminnow favors still, murky waters. You can exclusively fish for this species in specific bodies of water on the Heartopia Map.
- Primary Location: Head to the Suburban Lake. Fish off the deeper wooden docks to increase your bite rate for rare fishes.
- Weather & Time: Current table data lists European Mudminnow during Dawn or Night, in Sunny or Rainbow weather.
Required Bait & Rod
You cannot catch the European Mudminnow right out of the gate as a beginner. It has a hard level requirement gating its capture:
- Level Requirement: You must reach Fishing Hobby Level 8 before the European Mudminnow will begin appearing in your fishing minigame. Ensure you are consistently catching easier fish or completing daily fishing requests to grind your level.
