Quick Answer

Heartopia is multiplayer, but most friend, gift, and invite problems come from four checks: both players must be on the same server region, the friend request must be accepted, the item or voucher must not be at its quantity limit, and your notification settings must allow or mute the invite type you want.

Canโ€™t add a friend?
Check spelling, player ID, server region, and app version.
Too many invites?
Use in-game social settings first, then device notifications if needed.
Gift blocked?
Check mailbox, item cap, duplicate reward state, and reset timing.

How to Add Friends

  1. Open the in-game social, friends, phone, or watch menu.
  2. Use the available search option for player name, ID, or profile code.
  3. Send a friend request and wait for the other player to accept it.
  4. Confirm both players are on the same server label or region.
  5. If the request fails, restart the game after both players update to the same version.
Best check: Ask your friend to send a screenshot of their server label and profile ID. Most โ€œcannot find friendโ€ issues are caused by region, spelling, or version mismatch.

How to Turn Off Invites

Start inside Heartopia before changing phone settings. Look for Settings, Social, Friends, Notifications, or Privacy options.

  • โ€ข Turn off party, visit, or co-op invite popups if the option is available.
  • โ€ข Set your status to busy, offline, or do-not-disturb if the game offers a status toggle.
  • โ€ข If no in-game toggle appears, use your device notification settings to mute Heartopia notifications.
  • โ€ข Do not block a friend unless you want to stop social contact from that account.

Duplicate Ticket Vouchers or Gift Passes

If two friends sent the same ticket voucher or gift pass, do not assume both can be claimed at once. Many rewards have item caps, daily limits, duplicate restrictions, or mailbox rules.

Step 1: Screenshot both mails before claiming anything.
Step 2: Claim one reward and check where it appears: inventory, voucher list, mail, or event tab.
Step 3: If the second says quantity limit reached, use or spend the first voucher before trying again.
Step 4: If a paid or rare gift disappears, keep screenshots and contact in-game support.

Quantity Limit Reached

The message usually means your account already has the maximum amount of that item or reward type. It is not always a bug.

  • Inventory cap: Your bag, mail, or voucher storage may be full.
  • Reward cap: Some social gifts may only be accepted once per day or once per event.
  • Duplicate cap: Two identical gifts may not stack if the reward is unique.
  • Reset timing: Daily social limits may refresh based on server time, not your local time.
  • Region mismatch: Gifts may behave differently if friends are not on the same region or version.

Before You Play Multiplayer

Match server region

Friend features are easiest when both players choose the same server or regional label.

Update both devices

If one player is on an older version, search, invite, or visit features can fail.

Check permissions

Co-building, visiting, chat, and gifting may require friend status or extra permission.

Keep screenshots

For missing gifts or paid items, screenshots make support tickets much easier.

FAQ

Is Heartopia multiplayer?

Yes. Heartopia includes multiplayer and social features, but most daily progress still happens through your own character, home, hobbies, and quests.

How do I add friends in Heartopia?

Open the social or friends menu, search by the available player ID or name option, send a request, and wait for the other player to accept.

How do I turn off invites?

Check in-game social, privacy, and notification settings first. If there is no specific invite toggle, mute Heartopia notifications from your device settings.

Why did two friends send the same gift but only one works?

The item may have a duplicate, daily, event, or inventory limit. Claim one, check where it went, then use or spend it before claiming the second.

What does quantity limit reached mean?

It usually means you already hold the maximum amount of that item or reward type. Check inventory, mailbox, voucher tabs, and reset timing.
