βοΈ How to Unlock the Snow Sculpting Hobby
Before you can start building your frozen masterpieces, you need to acquire the right tools.
Finding Azure at Onsen Mountain
To begin, head over to Onsen Mountain. You will need to speak with the NPC Azure and browse the Fashionwave Hobby Store. Purchasing the Snow Sculpting Hobby will cost you 100 Wishing Stars.
Once purchased, follow the brief tutorial quest to receive your starter kit: a Snowball Machine and a Snow Sculpting Bench.
βοΈ How Snow Sculpting Works
Snow sculpting isn't as simple as picking up snow from the ground. You have to maintain your resources and time your actions.
Generating Snowballs
You must place the Snowball Machine on your home lot. While active, the machine automatically generates one snowball per hour. You can also occasionally find bonus snowballs while gathering other materials like wood around the map, so keep your eyes peeled while farming!
The Sculpting Minigame
Interact with your Snow Sculpting Bench to start. During the process, snowflake prompts will appear on your screen. You must click these highlighted prompts accurately. Idle behavior or missing prompts will result in lower-quality sculptures (and sometimes, a funny generic-failure shaped pile of snow!).
π Top Snow Sculpting Tips for Competitions
Want to guarantee high-quality sculptures to show off to your friends and get maximum scores during event competitions? Keep these tips in mind:
- Play with Friends (Multiplayer Buff): Heartopia encourages cooperative play. Having friends interact and "cheer" or help you during the minigame significantly boosts the chances of creating a top-tier, flawless sculpture.
- Use Blessings: If you have rare items like the Rainbow Bouquet from previous events, activating their blessing effects before sculpting can give you a hidden luck buff to your results!
π Upgrades and Rewards
The hobby has a maximum level cap of Level 5. To progress to the next rank, you must purchase Snow Sculpting Hobby Upgrade Tickets from Azure. Currently, these tickets cost 50 Wishing Stars each.
As you level up, you will unlock advanced blueprints for more intricate sculptures (such as the Ice Bear or the Grand Snow Rabbit), which can either be displayed on your lot as prestige decorations or sold for extra Gold currency.
