What “little whale” means
Players use little whale, small whale, and fountain whale for the same Splash Whale photo collection. They are decorative whale figures hidden around Whalefall Canyon, not fish that you catch with a rod.
Appearance conditions
Reach D.G. Member Level 7, enter Whalefall Canyon, and activate Naughty's Splash Whale objective. The collection unlocks in sequence using server time; older unlocked whales may still be available for catch-up.

Light Blue Splash Whale

- Outside the second-floor window of the D.G. Expedition Base Camp.

- First Splash Whale after Naughty's hunt becomes active.

- Face the window, turn right, and swim toward the pink coral.

- On top of the portal that returns to the mainland.

- Second whale in Naughty's daily unlock sequence.

- After the photo, check above the glass roof.
Collection status: the event contains 16 Splash Whales with different shapes and colors. This directory lists the six locations that currently have stable location details; use the in-game collection order for later unlocks rather than guessing from color alone.
Move until Photo Mode recognizes the whale target before taking the picture.
Confirm the photo objective advances before leaving the landmark.
The furniture reward is collected separately from a nearby seashell-style bubble.

The event panel is locked or missing
Confirm your D.G. Member level and main story progress first. Then close and reopen the event panel after the server has refreshed.
The activity is unavailable at your current time
Compare your local clock with server time. The listed end time is 5:59 AM server time, not midnight in every region.
Ocean Cleanup targets or markers look broken
Install the latest game update and reload Whalefall Canyon. The July 15 flash update addressed invisible pollution mist, untargetable Swirling Pollutants, and an incorrect underwater marker icon.
